Long time no post
It's been quite sometime since I posted anything. Mostly it's because of this new activity which I'm doing which I would like to call "work". This "work" is just fantastic. I spend so much time with "work" that I don't even have time to do other activities. Man. "Work" is amazing.
Then there's the "no internet connection" at home thanks to the renovation being done at my room. It's been 2 week since I switch on the computer at home. Need to get back online!!!!

Everyone is into blogging
Recently I noticed that a shit load of people are jumping into the blogging scene. First example.... me. I started blogging, when I started reading people's blogs. Either people I knew or even some random person. Some wrote what they did daily and some wrote what they were thinking. Some were interesting to read but many were just fucking boring. Seriously! I mean, who the fuck wants to know what the fuck you bought at the fish market. Interesting blogs that I always read are Technicolor-dream.org and The Immaculate Phylum, even though I don't think they know I or my blog exist.
When I started blogging, all I wrote were just rubbish. Just some nonsense that I thought of or some rubbish that I got from my mail. Rubbish!
Anyways, since I started blogging, I noticed that a few of my friends actual started their blog themselves. Firstly, Funky who basically complains in his blog about …..anything. From people he interacts with, to his life, to work to ……. anything. Then there’s Daniel Chan who writes about his life and how his life sucks! Dude, take a number, everyone else is in the same boat as you are. Finally, there’s Shen who’s been blogging for quite some time but recently revamped his blog to cater the every growing popularity of the blog readers. He did a total make over and also added, a comment box, a chat box and also discovered how to use Hello.
All I can say is that blogging is a fun way to express one’s self in any aspect such as one’s ideas, thought, daily activities, politics or anything he or she wishes to express and tell the world about. Just make sure not to misuse blogging to express racism and other negative elements in this modern civil society. There are certain responsibilities that bloggers need to know and understand before they start typing. I wish all the best to all the bloggers out there and keep on blogging.
In other news, I got good shit today. Aaaahhh.....
Dinner at Chili's
A few weekends ago, the guys from Penang came down for a short roadtrip. So I met up with them for a few occasions such as eating dinner at Chili’s. Chili’s…. man, that place has got to be one of the best place to eat. Price is kinda pricy but worth it because the amount of food that they give you is unimaginable.
Every time I go to Chili’s, I’ll be complaining that I’m so hungry that I could eat a horse but once leaving restaurant I’ll be complaining that they give tooooooooooo…….. much to eat. Never the less, Chili’s has never disappointed me before.

What a slow Sunday. Since I had nothing better to do, so I started surfing and reading other people's blogs. From the many dozens of blogs that I was magically transported to, I discovered that the entries for 2nd and 3rd September 2004 were filled with news of Anwar Ibrahim’s release. Nearly all the Malay bloggers posted news on his release. Only a very few number non Malay said anything about his release.
This is basically what I discovered from what I read. It doesn’t imply to anything at all. No conclusion, nothing.

A couple of vendors came to the office yesterday and I had to help them set up a printer for them to use. They're here to interview a few people for something which I'm not sure what.
Anyways, after bringing in a printer for them to use, the driver was missing. So I surfed the printer manufacturer's web site to get the drivers. Just as I finished with the download, I was asked to move aside by one of the vendor so that he can relocate the driver file. While looking at him clicking happily to relocate the driver file, I notice the other files in the same directory which were:-

The news of former Deputy Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim’s release yesterday, not only shocked Malaysia but also the world. Everyone who remembers the Mahathir-Anwar conflict are surprised with the decision made by the federal court about the appeal made by Anwar’s lawyers.
When the market opened yesterday, the composite index went down by 5 points. 2 hours after the federal court’s decision, the composite index went up by 20 points. Telekom shares opened at RM 10.80. After the decision, it went up to it’s highest value, which was at RM11.40. That’s a 60 cents increase in just a few hours. Truly, Anwar doesn’t affect emotional feelings only but also social, political and economical factors also.
It’s a long time more till the next General Elections. Anwar still has some time before he enters the political arena again. I have a feeling that Anwar will enter UMNO again. The only reason he went up against UMNO was because of Mahathir. Without Mahathir, there’s no reason he needs to keep a grudge with UMNO.
Pak Lah needs someone like Anwar beside him. It is known that Pak Lah ‘s political and business influence is not as big and influential as Najib’s influence. With someone like Anwar by his side, Pak Lah can counter future threats that Najib might make against him.
It’s now a watching game for all the Malaysian people. We all have to wait and see what happens next. Hopefully, something good will come out of this “drama”.

If you want to write something and no ones comes to reads it, you might as well write it on a piece of paper and paste it on your toilet. If the toilet runs out of toilet paper, they can use what you wrote as a subtitute. People will then appreciate what you have done.

2 months after the Telekom restructuring
On the 1st of July, Telekom had a big restructuring that involved nearly all of its staff. Those who were directly involved with the restructuring had it worst. We started the planning, placement and everything that is involved with the restructuring as early as May. Who was involved? Namely the people at the Human Resource division. It was hell for most of us there.
Fucked up things that happened, that I would never forget during that period.
- Started work at 8:30am as every other day, but ended up leaving at 10am the next day. That day was pretty fuck up. You watch everyone leaving the office and later the next morning, you watch everyone coming back to work, looking all fresh and active unlike those who had to stay back.
- Staying late at work nearly everyday until 10 pm or 11 pm, while everyone else leaves the office at 5 pm. And non of us gets over time.
- For more than 3,000 employees, some very stupid idiot actually came up with the idea of, “Hey, Lets write everyone’s name on a post-it note and then stick it on the printed structure”. That has to be one of the most stupidest and unproductive activity that I have ever did in my life. Heck, a 10 year old can think up something like that. That ain’t strategizing, it’s just plain stupid.
- Getting comments from everyone that we suck. If they only knew the working conditions that we had and the time limitation that we had, they wouldn't complain.
On the other hand, for every bad thing, there is surely some good things.
- Getting tons and tons of free food for breakfast and at times lunch.
- Since no one wants to disturb you, you can do your own stuff like spamming Shen’s forum.
- Had the resources to gossip about everyone and the latest things that are happening in the office and beyond.
- Able to finish “Neighbors from Hell”.
Basiccally, it was hell and heaven at the same time and I'll never forget my experience at that period of time. Photos taken during that period.
